Has John Ross Bowie's new show been cancelled already? I wasn't paying attention.

No, it's not cancelled. But he said if he could he would like to make some more appearances on TBBT. He probably had some time from his busy schedule and got a chance to last night.

I hope not. I wish him the best, but I love the Kripke character and was happy to see him back on TBBT.

No. Speechless has been picked up for a full season.

That's right, I did read that somewhere. It's a little surprising that ABC would let one of their new-show stars appear on a competing network. Surprising that the contracts would allow for it.

The exposure he gets on TBBT probably helps publicize his new show.

ABC is likely hoping the TBBT crowd will follow him to Speechless. Ain't happening on my account but you guys are welcome to go. That show looked like pure drivel on the commercials prior to the start of the season.

The only part of his new show I find interesting is how they could have gotten Minnie Driver to do a TV series. But I won't ever be watching even a single episode.

I definitely don't recommend it. I only half-watch it because it comes on in between The Goldbergs and Modern Family, but I don't like it. I hate Minnie Driver's character.

                      Been watching it.
Right now can't say I'm in for the long haulbut it has its moments.
The downside for me is that EACH characters personality traits seem to be too much of an overkill.
                      For example:
If someone is a (fill in the blank)then, he is the BIGGEST (fill in the blank) youve ever seen; and with ALL the
                      tells
any (fill in the blank) could EVER have.
No build-up to what a character is all aboutno need to spend time getting to know a characterno need to look for layerssince each type is
                      THOURGHLY
                      drenched in
                      EVERYTHING
                      that makes them that type.
It's almost as if they are constantly shouting
                      LOOK AT ME, IM
(a nerd, a bully, a slacker, a slob, clueless, or whatever)!
Enduring commercials is the price you pay for free television.
