If you had the option to travel back in time, would you do it?

Would it be to give them a farewell letter, or to spend one last excursion with before they discard their last tear before crossing the Jordan to the rainbow bridge? I’ve had several intimate friends get deceased, and I’d spare every last cylinder tissue on my back limb just to read a letter to them to cross it off my bucket list. I’d also sacrifice seeing the Seahawks win another Super Bowl.

Well, you'd be rewinding time, erasing everything between now and Ancient Rome, meaning for example you could go back and kill your past timetraveling self over and over until your time machine gives out and you're stuck. Or you were always there and basically set fire to something while Nero ruled so you can't rescript anything even if you try.
But in a "wish granted by magic that eventually gets reversed" type setting, I guess I would visit some place in whatever era I wanted to draw inspiration from.

I wish I had another chance with my ex, my one true love. I accept full responsibility for screwing that one up, and it fell on me. If I could go back and know what I know now, I would have trusted and not made those stupid mistakes that I did.

I don't know if anyone can get through life without regrets.
I have regrets if I look back on individual moments. It's easy to look back at certain things and cringe.
Big picture-wise though, it all lead me to where I am now. I like where I am and wouldn't want to risk ruining it to change some cringe-worthy moments….

Oh, sure. Granted that I could go back as I am now with current knowledge, I'd like to see many different time periods. If I could only travel back to one place, I'm not sure.
Now, if I could travel back and be a child again, I'd take a swing at a do-over of life. Other than my writing, I have nothing to lose or give up. I love the thought of being able to go back with the information to undo mistakes and regrets.
