Why people hate Skylar in Breaking Bad

The reason a lot of people single out Skylar is usually misogyny. They'll deny it, but every character is a mix of both good and bad. All human, and it's mostly about Walt… well, breaking bad. Skylar is way more sympathetic when you remove the bias.
Alternatively, it's because Walt is the main character and people have a main character bias. Skylar complicates his lies and plans. Gets in the way, so if you're sympathizing or empathizing with the main character, she is frustrating.

ITTY is evidently a misogynist, so it’s no surprise that he’d be against Skylar, who is a template for television anti-heroines. He reminds me of Gale.
