So mad.
Heh, you know what I realized long ago? Fight scenes in theater are just choreographed dancing. That's why they bore me so, almost always I know who's gonna win, and two big lugs stumbling back and forth exchanging stage blows is just
dull.
This however, isn't boring:
That's actually beautiful to watch, she's graceful, and rather pretty, even in that ugly-ass dress. So I willingly suspend my disbelief to let the pretty ones do more dancing and while she may not be as fetching as Summer Glau, Gwendoline Christy is a sure sight more graceful than the likes of Rory McCann or Iain Glen.

He killed a dothraki bloodrider in single combat, won the fighting pits twice, won multiple tournaments, and whooped serious ass in 2 rebellions, PLUS is Azor Ahai. He only ever lost after developing serious greyscale.

I'm not talking about the character, I'm talking about the actor's sword fighting skills and the choreography of the fights. Jorah looks terrible every time he fights, like he's never wielded a sword before. He looks clumsy and foolish. He only wins with luck.

The show should really do a better job of showing different characters' skill levels with the sword. Even with both hands, Jaime wasn't anything special. He wasn't any better than Ned Stark and even in that fight he looked mediocre. Brienne barely beat the Hound and she didn't beat him because of her sword fighting abilities. Jon Snow is constantly referred to as a great sword fighter and perhaps the greatest alive, but he barely looks average when he fights. The only character who has lived up to the hype and has shown that he could have legitimately been the best swordsman who ever lived is Arthur Dayne. That actor must have done more training for his one brief scene than all the other actors in the show combined.

I think I read that he's not an actor. I think he's a stunt man with massive sword fighting experience, so that makes sense. Also, Sean Bean has way more experience with swords than NCW, so that makes sense too.
Wait..What? -

I don't know about his experience with swords, but Luke Roberts, the actor portraying Arthur Dayne is an actor. He has several credits in his IMDB page and he has been playing Woodes Rogers in Black Sails where he is the main antagonist of season 3.

I think this guy was stunt for Arthur Dayne, and he is also Night King.
