I think Carice is a remarkable, magnificent actress but I am not sorry for flagging up her temper tantrum over Trump's election. It doesn't make me think any less of her as an artist though.

To her credit, if she deleted the tweet, she probably changed her mind about it. Most celebrities can leave up worse and get little-to-no criticism (look at that idiot Emmy Rossum,who insulted everyone that didn't vote Hillary and sees no issue with it)

Do not look at the private life of artists, do not follow them on Twitter, do not read their books unless writing is their art. There is nothing there that will improve on what you find in their art, it's actually quite the opposite.

I never would have thought she was a liberal snowflake of that degree. Like any other gutless Europeans, she thinks liberalism is cool. I guess the witch never bothered to look out of her window and directly witness the fruits of the liberal doctrine - dark faces of an uncivilized culture poisoning the streets of what once was a fair and pleasant country. But then again - she is an actor. They live in fantasy worlds all the time, so no wonder they choose the same kind of political doctrines.

Some liberal Europeans are a bit slow on the uptake, they haven't realised that there has been a backlash about their 'precious' behaviour. I don't like how people on the extreme left and extreme right demonise to the extent where they write off people's existences, though. I think in life people can be of one persuasion and make a show of their political affiliations to the point of virtue signalling but then, everybody is capable of growth. There is a culture now where people find great sense of purpose in demonising the other ('You're a redneck', 'you're a snowflake') - it gives people a sense of self.

I'm not defending some kind of "extreme right", which I'm not part of. This is a battle against the left wing extremism, which has been controlling and consuming the civilized world for over 2 decades now. It's like Spiderman trying to pull off a parasitic symbiote.

Yeah I was watching it unfold on twitter. Was pretty disappointed in her and all of the other celebrities throwing tantrums over losing the election. Atleast she tried to give people a reason for it I guess (Though it may have just been for damage control)
