My personal theory is that it's because Americans are so caught up in partisanship and propaganda, unlike us level-headed Euros, but I'm open to suggestions.

My point, FK, is you're upset that Hillary Clinton, who is a Democrat, lost. You're upset because she lost to a Republican. You don't care about her, you care that your preferred US political party lost an election. So you're partisan.

That's part of it. The other part is our primary system. Many (most?) voters in the primary don't vote for the person they think is best for the job, they vote for the person they think has tgere best chance of beating the other guy. Guess that's pretty partisan though.

It's because most Americans are uneducated, and almost every country in the world learns about American history. Also, it's easy for other countries to observe, then live here.

You're out of your cotton picking mind if you think Europhaggots have any novel insights into US politics. Look at the Guardian. On a daily basis they rehash the commentary from the NYT.

Because Europeans are fcking stupid and smug and worship at the alter of massive government so much that they are incapable of free thought and just regurgitate what their almighty government tells them. Poor guys were brainwashed to hate freedom.
