I hope someone can fill me in on the ending to "Traitor to Memory." We rented the DVD and just got near the end where Lynley is confronting Gideon Martin (the violinist) and then a major glitch in the DVD prevented us from seeing the end! Please help! Who was the killer and why did some characters smell something burning? And what was the significance of the musical piece that seemed to drive Gideon crazy? So many unanswered questions! It will be very hard to find another copy of the DVD where i live. I hope that someone can help me. It is so frustrating not knowing the ending. Thanks.

      SPOILERS****
The young violinist killed his sister because she was handicapped in some way and would take money away from his being able to attend a high class music school. The burning smell was part of the killing of his sister. He set a waste basket on fire in another room so that the nurse for the sister would leave the room and then he could kill her. I forget exactly the significance of the musical piece. Maybe it was something he was practicing that day. . . . sorry. .
