You can't compare pedophilia with homosexuality. Pedophiles are attracted to pre-pubertal children. That is, children under the age of 13. And pedophiles are not necessarily child molestors. Child molestors actually coerce, drug, and rape children. Gay adults generally want to be with other consenting adults of the same sex. AND ANOTHER THING. Psychologists will tell you that the majority of child molestors are STRAIGHT MEN. Just the same: most of the guys who rape other guys in prison are STRAIGHT MEN. Open a book sometime. You might learn something. -

There is NO reasoning. It's plain old and simple bigotry. The hatred for people that happen to be different from you. In my opinion that just makes you a rather unlikable person. That's the way I see it. I couldn't give a damn for why they have this hatred tbh. Where I come from people that are homophobic are being outcasted because these days people have just had enough.

I would speculate that the 'hatred' (strong word) is due to the minority of gay men who prance around like fairies talking in the most ridiculous, forced manner that makes you want to break their nose. And it is because that this behaviour comes off as forced that people don't like it. If that is who you are, fine. But I have a VERY hard time imagining a gay man acting this way 15 odd years ago.
But like I said, its the minority who act like this. I've known a few gay men in the past - only one acted like this. The rest I didn't realise were gay!! I was told by others, months and months after!
Just goes to show that if you don't judge everything so harshly, you could end up best friends with a gay dude who you think is straight. He he he, that would make for a funny situation if the straight dude was a homophobe, eh? What would he do once he, ahem, 'found out', he he he.

Because gays talk in a very feminine fashion (most/some), which makes other men seem/feel ashamed, less manly, basically gays are a disgrace of manhood. Being gay is not normal, it's a different sexual orientation completely detached from normality. That aside, i have nothing against gays, it's their choice.
The increase in human knowledge is the cause of the decline of religions. -

It's sick, what other reasons you need? In US founder or gay rights movement was Harry Hay who also supported NAMBLA, and nowadays he's being celebrated as gay icon.
Frank Kameny was another queer who supported NAMBLA's "right for free speech", and he also refused to condemn bestiality, that is the guy who Obama honored in White House before he's death. Also, Kameny had an asteroid named after him.

Most gay folk I know are tax paying, lawn mowing, Costco buying citizens who put one foot in front of the other, just like everyone else. Most heterosexual couples I know use birth control to stop pregnancies, so all that sex is just for joyful reasons, perhaps? And many of their sexual acts (oral and anal) have no intention of producing childrenso are THEY sick?
I guess one can be provincially minded and closed off from the real world, even if, or because they are from Finland? -

I just could never figure this out. How exactly does homosexuality, and gay rights for that matter, personally effect you for the worst? I'm a straight guy, and have no interest in men. But I also don't see why this has to be such a huge issue. Is it really THAT big of a deal?
I hear this debated over and over these days and could never hear a straight answer. So religious reasons aside, why all the hate for gays exactly? If someone could PLEASE just give me a straight answer, that would be awesome.
Bashers (anykind) lash out at the thing they fear most. In the case of gay bashers, they fear they themselves are gay. So, they must prove they're not. They think by stomping it out, they will stomp it out in themselves.
Just like the bullys who bully other kids, they have alot of insecurities and are weak. they must prove they are not, so they bully.

no, because atheism is merely the absence of belief. the belief in nothing greater or elite, and we are all on the same playing field as human beings. it's people of faith who dictate that the playing field is in fact, not equal for everyone, and they play the passive-aggressive bullying card, at best. if we have a group of people who go around claiming they are "saved," then that only means one thing even if they don't voice it: "and you're not." the worst case scenario of course, is the people of faith who go around telling others outright that they are "damned." so long as religion's nicest representatives still deal in passive-aggressive philosophies, it's a tough sell to refer to atheists as bullies.
