They punch BAE in the stomach and then behead him. 😭 I know it happens in the book but I'm still going to hate that.

Not just some Welsh twat, my favourite Welsh twat! 😑
I zoned out after that so can't give you more, but it was pages of the stuff. Who knows if it's even true, but some of it will be because there's a book.

With all the other deaths that are coming, I don't remember who died like that. Given the Welshiness of your posts I'm assuming it's a palindromic green twat though.

Just like nobody gives a rat's anymore if he ever finishes ASOIAF. He's been dangling that carrot for 15 years or something. πŸ˜‚

He and Patrick Rothfuss (The Kingkiller Chronicle) are responsible for my policy of not beginning a series of fantasy books until they're completed.

I don't even like reading or watching fantasy. GoT took me by surprise and I read all the ASOAIF books after S1 of GoT came out. Loved his style and that he just…killed everyone's darlings. πŸ˜‚ The last finished book in the series was a SLOG though. I think it kind of killed the saga for him, too.

I've finally got to page 400 in the book (literally taken me a year) and the source material is pretty basic - the show expands on it massively. It's the polar opposite of ASOIAF.
Why did they start the show halfway through the book? Maegor's story is pretty cool

Well once the event I'm dreading happens, I'll only watching for some dragon action.
The probably started half way through the book so they can tackle it with a whole new spin-off series!
