So she's a fellow inmate at Arkham instead of a shrink? Gotta mix things up I guess. I can't really get a feel for what the movie is about beyond they leave Arkham and cause chaos. They shouldn't have wasted that lipstick shot on the trailer.

She could be a doctor the entire movie through and this is just a way of the Arthur character contextualising her into being his sidebae like he did with the Zazibeats character in the first film
I like the character of the Joker and wasn't too impressed with how they tried to shoehorn him into the first film in this 'franchise'
If it turns out the whole set of films with Joaquin as Arthur is just a fiction told b the actual Joker by way of a punchline I'll accept it. But as a genuine backstory…

Hopefully they don't do the same trick twice. Given the title of the movie they might both imagine whatever happens to them. -

That would be much more satisfying
Although not a shared delusion, at least two separate ones with us having our own as presented to us in the movie

Looks ****. Todd Phillips surprised everyone and actually made a good movie although he was massively plagiarising Scorsese classics and now he's having delusional that he's a somebody. This is gonna flop so bad.
