It was so contrived. What kind of sleazy parents were they? I'm sure glad my parents didn't get the urge to go doggie in the kitchen. There's no excuse for that!
As for the rest, Peter Sarsgaard's character was ridiculous! As he turned against Vera Farmiga's character, it seemed completely surreal. It was so ridiculous I half expected him to break out laughing, and say "gotcha!" Very unrealistic, but a lot of you seem to be eating up the garbage, these writers keep dishing out.

I know good writing too and I'm sick of writer's writing characters that act unrealistically, just because it's less work to create the tension and drama they seek. And they know they can get away with it, because of people like you.
And I have no complaint about the acting.

John, your parents didn't get the "urge to go doggie" (oh gross) that you KNOW of, Mr. Snobby. But I wouldn't ask them.
Go "taste the rainbow" you skittles loving homo. I said in the kitchen, which would be very irresponsible of parents, when kids could walk in.
And yes it's common for people to be grossed out, thinking about their parents having sex, but I guess it's a pleasant thought for you.
