Again, no mention of George Jung. Perhaps they weren't related but considering that Charles Cosby was dealing in California, you would think there would be some mention of it. Any thoughts?

My thoughts are thisGeorge Jung was the king of it all on the west, I mean he knew Pablo Escobar, personally. I never even heard of this crack head until today!
I am guessing they are not associated in any level at all. -

Jung was in Escobar's organization and was just a Trafficker.. not a hitman or pusher.. Escobar from what both movies showed was one of the people who were responsible for putting the hit on Blanco and her family for Blanco killing other Colombian hierarchy left and right. Remember from the 1st movie.. Raffa put the hit out on Griselda which caused her to flee Miami. According to this movie, Escobar killed Griselda's 2 oldest sons back in Columbia which is part of the same orders from Raffa.

i saw on Charles Cosby's website where he makes a mention to Jung and he didn't even rate him at one of the top people of the 80s in terms of distribution.
he basically didn't hold him in that high of a regard. -

Cocaine Cowboy documentaries are about the Miami story. From what I read about Boston George, he was basically over by the mid-to late 1980s. Exactly when the crack game got big.
So there isn't much overlap other than the source of the drugs.
No two persons ever watch the same movie.
