There is no way I am reading all that.

Great analysis of one of my favorite movies, really enjoyed it. Though I have to admit (and I don't mean any offense by this) I think you could have been a lot more succinct in your writing, as I felt it really dragged on more than necessary in over-explaining and reiterating ideas. If you were to shorten it to just the most important bits, it would probably make it more accessible so that more people would read it and enjoy it. Just a suggestion.

Appreciate the feedback!
Yeah this monstrosity could use some major refinement, to be sure. I've had it in the back of my head to do that for years now, but up to this point I haven't been able to justify the time it would take. It's like this mostly because it's a compilation of various posts over the years. Although I did refine and integrate them somewhat while composing this, it's a lot to plow through and could absolutely use some streamlining.
I'm something new entirely. With my own set of rules. I'm Dexter. Boo.

I know this is a little off topic but I was wondering what other thought-provoking movies you like. Triangle is one of my favorite movies and since you also seemed to really enjoy it I'd like to see if you have any recommendations for other movies that made you think as much as this one did.
Personally when I think of a "thought-provoking" movie I actually do mean something that pushes you to think, to research ideas and really consider them in depth so you can learn new things, etc. The main thing I really liked about Triangle is the fact that trying to visualize all of the overlapping timelines and how such a thing might actually exist gave me a much better understanding of what time is and how it functions. I was also intrigued to discover that these kinds of time loops are actually theoretically possible in real life without breaking the laws of physics. So even though Triangle didn't really push this at you or spell it out, or even guide you towards specific things to research, I still rank it as one of the most thought-provoking movies I've seen.
So just wondering what other movies you like and would recommend! -

I would chime in with "Predistination." Wow was this one confusing at first viewing.
