I know I'm not the first, but what the hell.
Basically she is Sisyphus - the Greek antihero of legend that is condemned by the Gods for all eternity to push a boulder up a hill, only to watch it fall back down just before he gets to the top.
Starting from the end of the film (in true spirit of Triangle of course)- The taxi driver at the end is Death. He's all dressed in black (hint, hint). The sky goes black when he appears in the background (hint, hint). He says that he's just a driver, well Death is just someone who comes to collect people when they die and take them to the underworld. In Ancient Greek mythology, Charon is the ferry man who takes people across the river to the underworld. It's this guy, but now he drives a cab. This is the very top of the hill, when Sisyphus decides to go back down and collect his boulder and try again.
- Car crash. Kid dead (her too). All over. This is just before the top of the hill, when Sisyphus sees his hard work was all for nothing (boulder falls down the hill).
- After waking up on the beach, going home and killing her old, abusive self, she realises she has the chance to start again and be with her son. This time do it right. She packs him in the car and drives off. They're not going to the harbour though. She says let's just get the hell out of here. This is pretty close to the top of the hill, end is in sight. Yaayy!!!
- Everything from arriving at the harbour to waking up on the beach is just pushing the boulder up the hill, from the bottom to the top.
It's never ending and she'll never escape. Oh good times.
(Done with fish.)
