The trailer was nice, but the last show that was Star Trek was Voyager.
I didn't like Enterprise much due to the sex Vulcan. I tried to watch Discovery and the main character is bizarrely negative, like Star Fleet would have her brain reconstructed and then the gay guy merged with the ship and had an orgasm.
At that, I was out.
I read Pickard was depressing and seemed to forget about how the Earth works in Star Trek, so I didn't even think about watching it.
I thought Anson Mount would be a good Batman, so It's cool he's Pike. I am interested.
Side note: Why do they keep doing retro shows? -

Side note: Why do they keep doing retro shows?
This show was originally unplanned. After audiences really responded to Anson Mount as Pike and Ethan Peck as Spock they began crafting this show.
The only time anyone does anything its usually $$$. lol -

It's even worse than Discovery.
The show centers around Uhura. Not the captain or the XO.
But the cadet Uhura.
She is the center of conversation, she is the center of the story, the camera is always going to her even if what's happening has nothing to do with her.
Might not be so bad if she were a better actress.
The only positive is she almost makes Burnham seem decent.
