its definitely not one of Stallone's best but its definitely not that bad of a movie, some of Stallone's lines were funny and there was some badass action scenes and yes the movie was a little bit boring in places but overall I find this movie to be an average movie

Yeah there are some unintentionally funny scenes and good one liners like "Are we gonna fight or you plan on boring me to death", "guns don't kill people, bullets do" and "you had me at f-ck you". For some reason I always laugh when Stallone is about to shoot Ronnie Earl and the gun won't work and end up in a fight. And the scene when Christian Slater is tied down to the chair threatening Stallone and the other guy and Stallone shoots him in the head "Are you f-cking insane, you just don't kill a guy like that!" "I just did". lol.

Good fun and the off again/on again/off again bromance between cop and hit man works well. Also liked the twist involving Lisa.
You can usually depend on Walter Hill to come up with the goods as far as action movies are concerned. -

The mo in was alright but watching Stallone's plastic face and toupee trying to prove that he can still keep up with the young guys was a bit pathetic. He should be gracious and step aside for the next generation. Besides, I. No scenario does a 6'4 jacked Keegan lose to a 60 year old man, no matter what shape he's in.

60 year old men are often stronger than younger folks. Its called "old man strength". My grandfather was a Navy Man, my Father was Air Force. Both my father and grandfather have always been in terrific shape, they were bodybuilders and fitness freaks. My grandfather showed me just how strong he was(at 76) when I didn't feel like listening to him. I'm sorry but your arguement is weak, age has little to do w/ winning a fight especially if you are in Stallone shape, AND he had the extra strength(motivation) that comes from revenge/anger/bitterness of avenging his partner. It was pretty realistic actually, and to be a nitpicker, it wasn't Stallone that finished him off but his cop buddy(Taylor).

It's not bad at all. These gods of the 80s have made many movies in the years since trying to replicate their glory days, and this is one of the better efforts. Some fine actors, good interplay between them, some nice action sequences, and Sarah Shahi.
