What exactly has Anna done for Bea? She's busy with work, leaving Bea in the care of nannies. She works in a superficial industry that Bea thinks is a joke! Bea is just an accessory to her mother uses for photo-ops,. and as a marketing tool to be consulted when Anna needs to make a decision because she fits the ideal demographic of the magazine.

If she has no interest in fashion, why must she pursue a career in this industry just because mummy dearest has got all the connections? She wants to be her own person, and rightfully so "darlings".

I thought the daughter ruled. What she said about the fashion industry, and how in her view there were better life options than that, made sense. There's something absurd about fashion and how its revered in some circles.
And seriously, you think texting in front of your mother makes you a bad person? There are a lot worse ways to be a bad person than that. Lame thread.
