I know it's a hackneyed concept but: If She, were a He, her exacting, perfectionist, visionary, domineering, the buck stops here, demanding, stubborn, non-coddling, decision making, ways, would be seen as the mark of an excellent business person.
That's her name first on the masthead, and she alone carries the success or failure of a magazine that has been the first and last word in global fashion for over 50(?) years. If Vogue ever tanks while she's at the wheel, the responsibility will be hers and hers alone.
So she's not especially warm while she's doing her job, do ya think that Trumps' a teddy bear to his staff while executing his job?
Her 'rage' as is referred to in the IMDB review I just read, is quite an overwrought term in reference to this film. I see her annoyed, stubborn, miffed, put-out, mildly exasperated, and decisive. I do not see her professional demeanor drop away in any particularly noteworthy way.
She's a woman with power, these references that seek to estimate her psychological state as she goes about the business of doing her job to the best of her ability are highly suspect and smack of sexism.
Truthfully, I don't much about fashion, but I do see it as an art form and Anna Wintour could be seen as it's greatest fan and holder of the flame of that particular means of human expression.
    That's a lot of responsibility.
    Minor rant complete.
