    As it turns out, Muschietti's
    'IT'
is garbage, IMHO. Part 1 is lame and Part 2 is even worse. Muschietti made so many changes it isn't even the same story King told.
To clarify, in an absolute sense, it's a decent movie as horror flicks go, but it's a
    terrible
adaptation. Almost as bad as Kubrick's take on
    The Shining
    .

      Stranger Things
ripped off Stephen King as much as it possibly could and still avoid being sued.

It really is, though. It's just kids fighting a monster
With the Turtle it's a deeper story about the rilvary between two giant ancient forces of the cosmos.

Um, that's because the basic plot to any story can broken to only so many elements: man vs man/ an outsider/society, man vs nature, and man vs himself. Does that make everything a remake now?

That's a fraction of the story, though.

I don't remember a scene in Stranger Things where they all take turns having sex with Eleven. Unless there is am underage child gangbang in one of the cut scenes I missed.

I don't think the turtle made Beverley think she can bang her way out of that situation.

(chuckle) My, but people do obsess over that "gang bang" scene, don't they…?

Well, I adore Stranger Things, but let's face it, it's just ET meets IT with some other stuff thrown in (Firestarter, Poltergeist, Goonies). If it has stuff in common with an adaptation of one of its source materials, that's hardly a surprise.
