From what I have heard, Richard Dean Anderson has publicly been trashing this show before the first episode even aired and continues bashing it. So yeah I doubt he will appear on it even though that would be cool.

Richard Hatch did the same thing before the new Battlestar Galactica aired, but eventually changed his mind and ended up doing 22 episodes as Tom Zarek, which is actually one more episode than he played Apollo in the original Battlestar Galactica.
I don't know what they have to say. It makes no difference anyway. Whatever it is, I'm against it. -
