TBH, I find her pretty gormless in most things.
Playing a spymaster was a bridge too far.

I liked her but i thought the pregnancy was just way out of place.
At first i thought the entire story took place over a few months because she was visibly pregnant in all her scenes. At one point she says the baby is their first and only and this was toward the end of series. It would've made more sense if she was pregnant "again" to help with the timeline.
Also, talk about not being inconspicuous for a spy. In the scene where she "runs into" Jonathan when he takes Danny to town she makes a big deal of the ice cream and talking loudly almost calling attention to herself.
Roper's body guards would surely remember a hugely pregnant British lady if they happened to run into her again which they did.
Fraaaank. FRANK! Get my jean bin. Susie wants my jeans.
      No she doesnt.

I liked her, but the pregnancy did mess with the timeline too much. She was looking at least 6/8 months through the whole show, but it would seem like Pine was undercover for a year at least.
