S1 gets a bit wild towards the end. It's still a good show that I enjoyed a lot, but Capaldi's other recent show, Criminal Record, is better

Have you seen Skins? He has a small role as Sid's Dad in that.
Give it a try if you haven't seen it - Loki and Twiz enjoyed it a lot. It's the first 2 series' that are the bangers with Nicholas Hoult, Joe Dempsie, Div Patel etc
