This film makes a good double bill with "Assault on Precinct 13" (The original version, not that abominable remake).
I liked it even though I felt the ending was unsatisfying. I liked it better than "Eden Lake" which was just torture porn.
The teacher was a bit of a Walter White character. -

This wasn't close to being on Eden Lakes caliber. The success of Eden lake was the realistic quality. The fact the being on vacation in a strange place puts people in a vulnerable situation in the first place. I remember being in Puerto Rico and we stopped at this confident store and came out and our car was surrounded by five teenagers. They all just stared at us. They then for no reason, ran away. Eden lake reminded of that time because what of they didn't run away, what if they had other intentions.
This movie made no sense. It was a big WHY! Why attack that school, why attack at that time, why not attack the teacher. Plus how in the world was everyone trapped on a school. Even elementary schools are large enough to escape. It felt more like a supernatural film then a realistic film but they didn't do that well either.
