First of all I want to say I thought this film was very good, and in very little needs of explaining - especially where the ending was concerned. I'm sure as a parent the child comes first, regardless of the situation.
However, I have a couple of questions
Kate must've smashed one of the faceless thugs in the face with the extinguisher and got away. Yet we never saw who it was, I'm guessing Kate never saw either.
Firstly, how was she able to get away with such a feat?
And secondly, is there a point to this section of the film? I can't think of one.
Just wondered what everyone else's thoughts are on this. -

Firstly, how was she able to get away with such a feat?
It was a carbon dioxide extinguisher which she temporarily incapacitated him with, then hit him with it. You can give someone a relly good clout with one. They are not particularly heavy but the extra adrenaline in her bloodstream would have made it considerably easier.
And secondly, is there a point to this section of the film? I can't think of one.
She now knows that the school is definitely under attack and that it's not just her father's paranoia.

James
