I'm actually working on a series of scripts for Midnight's Edge regarding the development of the
Spider-Man
movie franchise that looks at the movies in a similar fashion. You can see the first one here:

I do think they could have made a good movie despite Fox only wanting it for the rights. A lighter tone, ditch the dark setting and horror aspect and make something like GOTG.

With the same cast. It has to be that cast. They love that cast. Nobody can argue with that cast. (Without being called a racist.) Obviously that cast is correct for the "DNA" of the Fantastic Four.
And the "DNA" of the Fantastic Four is what we want. Being faithful to that "DNA." Not tweaking that "DNA."
Punchable Face Richards
Plain Jane Sue
Black Johnny Storm
Billy Elliot Grimm
All perfect for the DNA of the first family of Marvel comics.
Bring it on.

Will it mention the disappointing reviews for the new xmen?
Yes. Absolutely.
And will this be a trank anthology video?
No, because it's not really related to Josh Trank. It'll be more like a roundtable. -

General happenings across the board (almost all of which concern the current slate of
X-Men
movies), including a potential superhero movie franchise fox got the rights to that's entirely unrelated to Marvel.
As for when it'll be up I don't have a clue. I think we'll record it before
X-Men: Apocalypse
releases in the United States, but the video probably will not be up until a few days later.
EDIT: Since the guy running the channel is very busy travelling, he's saying that the discussion won't happen for another week and a half at the earliest. That's just for the podcast part of the show - that doesn't count editing the video together, which itself will take a few more days before it's ready to upload. By the time we talk, we both will have seen
X-Men: Apocalypse
.
However, there is a new
Spider-Man
video that I wrote in the pipeline, and it's coming very soon if everything works out, so if you need a fix of capesh movie studio politics, then there's that. -

Okay, this thing was brilliant. The behind the scenes was, unlike the film, entertaining.
Someone should do one fo these for the new Ghostbusters travesty. Rumor has it the off camera there was just as entertainingly disastrous. -

So far, those are just rumors. I mean, rumors about Marvel (except when it comes to exactly what will happen in the movies) typically winds up being true, but there's been rumors about this for awhile now.
What we see and what we seem are but a dream. A dream within a dream.
