It's pretty clear it's not going to happen. Unless they've been silently developing it, by the time they'd get it out, it'd be way too long after the original for it to do any respectable business.
Not to mention, the first one didn't do respectable business to begin with (estimated loss of $80 million), how are they going to convince investors to invest in the movie?

That is indeed the case - I'm here to archive the entire thread before IMDB calls it quits on the whole message board thing. I've largely moved on to doing a lot of freelance writing (
Star Wars
News Net, Midnight's Edge, and Heroic Hollywood), as I feel like it's a better use of my time than to go about arguing over what CBM is better.
