It really is a shame to see this forum closing so close on the heels of what, no doubt, is going to prove some of the most tragi-comic times of this administration.

Did you see Trump tweeted that the real story here is the "illegal leaks", not that one of his closest advisors had to resign in disgrace for supposedly lying to the administration about his close ties with Russia.

I did, and, for further humor, the two die-hard Trump fan's I've spoken to about this since it came out responded something along the lines of "Well it's good that he fired him I mean it's good he's draining the swamp"

He bitches about so-called "illegal leaks", but then holds what's supposed to be a secure policy meeting with the Japanese prime minister in the restaurant at Mar-a-Lago, where all the other patrons film/take pictures of it with their phones.

Liberal Democrat Dennis Kucinich says this is part of an act of sabotage by the intelligence agencies, an attempt to rekindle a Cold War with Russia. You know, the same intelligence agencies who killed Kennedy according to Democrat Chuck Schumer. Flynn is also a Democrat, as was Trump. -

But the Senate is another matter. Chaffetz doesn't count. There's no way yet to know how far Republicans there are willing to go, but at least a few of them are not ready to call it quits. -
