They are mega-rich and have an agenda to push. They are the ones who live in gated communities, among people of their same status. They avoid the "vibrancy" that want to push on others. When they talk about sharing and "spreading the wealth around" they aren't talking about THEIR wealth. They are like "do as I say, not as I do".
They are very good at pointing fingers at others and deflect their own responsibility.

Yes and so is most of this world. Its not like the old days where it was easier to get a movie made, these days less risks are taken. That's why most of the movies out there are big budget action/superhero/etc that are guarenteed return on investments.
For quality writing and indy film making I would check out quality TV series, or net series, thats where the quality writing seems to be going these days.
