Anyone know why this film has never ended up on cable or television? It's been 2 years since its release. I own it sdo I

Want proof? Lawrence of Arabia is never on TV either.
You may not have the channel that shows it. TCM showed LOA recently in tribute to Peter O'Toole's recent death. It's also shown a couple of times when they do their many marathons of his films through out the year.

The reason it hasn't been on TV is because Super 8 is clearly far too good to share with the average viewing public.

Comcast has it in on demand for 2.99 Std def. They don't have it in HD. It would be nice if they put it on a channel like HBO or Showtime.
