I don't remember much about the movie because I was staring at her mole the whole time. That mole stole the spotlight.

My wife and I actually discussed it during the movie, I said I'd like to get my can of freeze spray (that I use to remove warts or moles) and take care of that for her.
It would be a simple procedure and she is a pretty lady, I wonder why she leaves it on?

People have moles. Marilyn Monroe had one on her chin and this "beauty mark" has been imitated the world over via makeup.
I think it's simply part of Lively's "look" at this point. It's something that is identified with her. Besides, I don't know how simple it is to always get them removed. Maybe hers is, I don't know. I worked with a woman once who had one on her upper lip and she said it could not be removed.don't remember the reason, but I remember she said it was too deep and would require reconstructive surgery, which she didn't want to do. Don't know if that's the case here, but just sayin'.

it's her trademark, why should she remove it ? Think Cindy Crawford and Marilyn Monroe

It gives her character and distinguishes her from the rest of the pretty young blondes in Hollywood. Without it, would she be quite as recognizable?
