There'll be a video essay out soon enough discussing how the next generation don't have anything original to explore themselves and how what they've been left with is a spent used up recycling of air and ideas with no hope.
Even when they try to take a risk and venture out on their own they are confronted with echoes of the past and the recycled truth of death and birth right in their faces. Nature staring back and all of that.
It will labour the recycled aspect so much that one might consider the essay a rewrite of something done preciously, and it will acknowledge that because it's not silly enough not to.
Finishing up with that new dawn, the sunrise which we all hope will be the one that changes it all.
Gen whatever-it-is-they-are-called-now will feel happy knowing that they were dealt a bad hand and maybe, just maybe, they can be the generation to change it all for the better
    There you go!
It was still better than any Alien stuff Ridley Scott is after the original

New would be nice, but something a little different and polished will do
The cast was awfully young. But smarter minds than mine might point out that sailors and explorers of the past always started out young. 12 was the age to get married and living until you are 30 war almost unheard of in the general population.
All in all though I enjoyed the film enough. It was a bit of a slasher sequel but it was done just so
Much better than Prometheus or Covenant but those are both pretty low bars
Fargo guy's Alien: Earth will be out shortly, that's something I'm looking forward to
        What about you Hep?
