There was another one, dani something or other, but I put her on ignore because she was so furious with me for voicing an opposing opinion.

What I love is his comments he has me on ignore like that is going to wreck my weekend or something, and that he'll remove ignore in a few weeks if I behave myself.- How will he know if I;m behaving myself.

- That I give hoot hoot about him restoring me to his viewing pleasure. I'm just here to annoy the sht out of whoever that guy is now that he's no longer invisible to me.

Disliking Dani is like killing a million puppies.
Anyway this season is great. I respect your opinion but the found footage doesn't make it a bad season. You just dislike the format but that doesn't make it bad.
Imagine if I was like I hate the walking dead it is so bad it has Zombies. That's the same for me in season 6 other than it wasn't expected because the season was kepy secretive until it aired -

I don't take issue with Found Footage. I actually really like a lot of found footage styled horror movies. They're kind of a guilty pleasure. My issue is the writing and how inconsistent it is. The writers basically threw out character development for part 2 when they switched up the format, and that's really unfortunate because the show had great promise earlier this season.

I'm with the OP on this. I hated Hotel, and Roanoke has been difficult to enjoy.
The show itself, I am still a fan of. It's anthology which to me, offers a fresh new start to every season. EVEN if I dislike say, season 3, I could very well enjoy season 4.
That said, I don't post my opinions because I do not care what anyone thinks of them. I'm glad people are still enjoying the show, and I listen to their POV. I guess I'm about respecting others views and agreeing to disagree. While being civil.

100% agree. People should be allowed to share their opinions, and others should be respectful of them. I've posted on this board (and many others over the course of my long, storied history here on IMDB) and unfortunately I've found that there are certain posters here who like to police these boards. They insult and demean posters whose opinions they don't agree with. Please don't let them get you down. We need more discussion around here, after all, that's the point of a discussion board.

I couldn't agree more, it's not even a fan board. People who haven't even seen the show post questions, it is supposed to be neutral. They do not get me down, my self-esteem cannot be harmed by someone I don't know. That said, I'm gonna watch Chapter 7 right now.

Again I can't argue against this although then again I quite like part 2. We know everyone but 1 dies so we cannot trust anything. Again not bad writing they had set it out from the start of episode 6.
Also we have another supposed twist in episode 10 so who knows what is in store.
Compared to Hotel and Freak show this is great. However, I think you need to remember that each season appeals to different people. -

I agree that it's an improvement over Hotel and Freakshow, but the last two episodes have left a bad taste in my mouth and if things continue this way I think we could end up with another disappointment on our hands. I'm already anticipating the "twist" in episode 10 and I still don't think it excuses poor characterization and lack of plot for these three episodes.

I can see why people like it, but for me episode 7 crammed way too much into one episode that it just ruined it and pushed an iffy season to probably my least favorite. If this had played out over 2-3 better paced episodes it might have been better. At least AHS is anthology so if I don't like one season I might really like the next.
