I've come to the conclusion that I like the seasons when I can watch them at my own pace (a lot at once), instead of week to week.
Freak Show is and will always be excluded from this rule. It's the worst.

I'd say it's about the same as when it was on. Some people like it, some people don't. Negativity just tends to flood the board when the show is airing.
As for me: Still hate it.

This happens EVERY year. When Asylum started, everyone was screaming that it sucked compared to Murder House. The Coven came along and people praised Asylum while Coven was the worst thing ever. Then Freak Show came on and
Next year people will be praising AHS: Roanoke, because next years season will be The worst thing ever.

Yes it does occur EVERY season. Like clockwork. I dont know what it is about this show that causes that. Maybe the people liking it on a rewatch just prefer binge watching?

That was my problem with the season. Annoying school girls and fascination with boy parts. I would have much preferred the younger girls to be actual Salem witches back in the 1690's.

I think that was a problem a lot of adult viewers had with it, and it was a very bitchy season which gets a bit much. If you're going to binge a rewatch, keep your focus on the older characters, and the nasty themes. Just have the teens there as window dressing. Might help your entertainment. Have fun, champ.
Also, you might already know this but Denis stayed in character on set as soon as he went through wardrobe and makeup, so let that carry you away when ever you watch my screen crush. Brilliant acting. I LUV EWE, DENIS!!!
