The other new Cinemax show, Outcast starts after Banshee ends. Quarry does not have a date yet. And it's kind of funny that even though Banshee had such a long time from filming to premiere, extended by almost 4 months, Quarry finished filming even before Banshee, at around the time they started filming Banshee.

I agree except for the very talented actors part - the only good one is Liev Schreiber. The rest of the cast is as awful as the series itself.

I don't know, I don't think these 2 shows are comparable. Strike Back is a straight up action show with little else, it almost entirely lacks the well done character work that I really liked in Banshee. For someone coming from Banshee to really like Strike Back, one should have enjoyed nothing about Banshee but the pure action and sex scenes.

Impastor. It's the comedy version of Banshee, instead of a thief/con man, the protagonist is a scumbag, instead of sheriff, he impersonates a gay pastor (he's straight and knows nothing about the bible).
