the explicit sex scenes make me sick simply because this douche bag film maker has no MF'ING talent at all.Low budget indie film directors are the worst example of capitolism period .This director should be treated with the lowest form of respect period .This guy belongs in the fuQQing valley directing cheap amateur porn he shouldnt be allow or shown any kudos for getting away with something like this .He's trash he should be blacklisted why he gets any kind of cred is beyond me ,For instance in the movie 9 songs .The female lead caught hell for her part in doing the explicit love scenes proving she is not at all a acting but just another whore hollywood spues out .How come the director of the film didnt catch the same flack ? Hollywood is filled with hypocrites galore .
Let face it, people hate art movies. Especially when they are not expecting an art movie -

There must be two versions of this film, because the one I saw was very graphic and the scene was long, and IMO took away from the film.
We knew what she did, a brief scene would have been OK. This was too much. -

Good writing and fleshed characters make a great story no need to fill it with unsimulated porn scenes .it was established before that scene that that was what the girl did she was a porn star we didn't need to see the actual porn going on because unlike sean baker most people are of smart enough and experienced enough to know what real sex looks like we can take the hint .It's obvious baker is a typical hollywood liberal idiot with the sexual maturity of a 12 yr old .He had a solid story that was interesting with fleshed out characters and the little boy in him when it came time to deal with the sex issue can't control himself .It was a major distraction he took something that was actually good and took a dump on it just to "shock" that's why i rate this film as a low as i did i would of given it a 6 but just seeing that.I bring it down to the level of porn because has really cheesy 1 dimensional stories but they make up for it with the sex it's why audiences watch porn for the sex .The story is almost a non factor in those cases ,starlet had a story it wasnt supposed to be about sex .He made it about sex the moment that scene was put in what a pretentious cheese ball he and the like are.It shows how low rent he is and uncreative he is .A real professional wouldn't need to sink to that low because they knew what they had was solid and that the story and characters were good enough .That there was no need to show the explicit sex that's not what makes a great story .
