Sorry Murray, I really do not like hand held camera movies of any sort.
They're lazy because the director can't be bothered to set up a proper scene.

It's not even all Like that. There are properly filmed scenes. I hate shaky, dark, handheld movies like cloverfield and Blair witch. This wasn't like that. Don't criticize a movie you haven't watched.

Wasn't too fond of the beginning but it got better. Glad I didn't turn it off. It had crossed my mind to do so and find something else.

I had to fast forward the scenes of the kids talking. Caan's scenes were good but didn't get much of a chance to act, as written.
