    Bunch of Americans 15-20 years into the apocolypse, many of them children born DURING said apocolypse, yet they all know the lyrics to " dont look back in anger " by Oasis, a song that came out about 50 years ago ( in this timeline ) and was never really that big a hit in America either way….

      Well, there’s your problem. You watched the 2024 film version of the 1949 novel. And having been produced in 2024, it was undoubtedly woke as ****. I’m sure that there were all kinds of bumbling white men, empowered fems, magical minorities, and a turd burglar around every bend.
      We read the novel back in high school. Not sure if you’re a reader or not. But there’s also the old time radio version of the novel.

        Oh I didnt know it came out in 1945. Now it makes much more sense why the main guy is called " Isherwood " lol I always thought that sounded like a name a man from the 1800s would give his kid.
        In that case, I bet you his love interest in the book was NOT a black woman lol
