Neve Campbell is returning for "
SCREAM 7
" and Kevin Williamson (he and Wes Craven created the "
SCREAM
" franchise. He wrote the scripts for the 1st, 2nd, and 4th "
SCREAM
" movies) will be directing it.

It'll be time for that when they stop making money. That hasn't happened yet, the last sequel made 27 million more than its predecessor. Franchises don't end when that happens.

Good for Neve, I wonder how they'll tie the story into her youth.
There can't be much more wiggle room for pulling out many more people.
Wasn't the sister (Or daughter) of her killer in the last one and hallucinating him?

They established in the 5th "
SCREAM
" Movie (which came out in 2022) that Neve Campbell's character (Sidney) now had 3 daughters and was married to Patrick Dempsey's character (Detective Mark Kincaid from the 3rd "
SCREAM
" Movie).
