At this point they may as well have Sid in a coma from the end of Scream 4 and disregard 5 and 6 as a dream. Easiest way to get rid of Melissa and Jenna and excuse that god awful billy's daughter storyline, and to bring Dewey back.
It just won't feel right with another 2 actresses playing Tara and Sam. -

I disagree, I think they could do a "
SCREAM 7
" with Neve Campbell (Sidney) and Patrick Dempsey (Detective Kincaid) and have it take place at the exact same time as "
SCREAM VI
" and in the end, have the Killer (it would be just 1 Ghostface Killer again) be Richie's Mother (she went after Sidney while her husband and remaining kids went after Sam & Tara). -

It wouldn't surprise me if they went this route. Still keeping with the story but excluding the other two. I'd be happy with that tbh. -
