I just got around to seeing this and I have a lot of thoughts still swimming around about it. It is effective as a thriller to keep you on the edge on your seat and as a film that makes you ruminate on matters of faith, of belief and disbelief. The film doesn't give answers to many of the questions it poses, but that's OK because coming up with those answers are for after the viewing, during you are preoccupied with the insanity unfolding on screen. This deserves a second watch to really digest it a bit more.

I agree with this. This offers a lot to chew on for people who are interested in matters of faith and theology. Ultimately it doesn't really try to answer questions, but it does posit them…For someone less spiritually inclined it serves as a good old suspense film, but for others it invites you to examine your beliefs and to come to what ever conclusions you may afterward.

wow that is quite a personal journey. I have a lot of respect for people who dig deep and seek, and I hope you find just where it is you should land. The film also strikes a chord with me for much the same reason. I'm not quite as well studied as it sounds like you are but am also on a journey of sorts through faith and theology, and have been through some pretty strange loops in my time.
