I wasn't even aware that the Lego movie poked fun at the DCEU and I could care less. Who hasn't poked fun at the DCEU at this point?
It's simply that I caved in and watched the last Lego movie based on rave reviews and ended up with a headache when I watched the film because of how annoying it was.
And therefore, this time, I'm not giving into the hype. I may watch it when it comes out on dvd and be pleasantly surprised but I have my doubts.
And I didn't find Joker and Batman very entertaining in the Lego movie> I see that they're going for the "fun" route but there weren't any jokes that I found to be particularly brilliant or anything.
My favorite Joker so far is Jack Nicholson and Leto is my least favorite if that helps.
Remember I didn't really like Suicide Squad.
But when it comes to Batman, I tend to not be interested in the Batman comics geared towards children, so naturally I think it just makes sense that I gravitate towards the live action Batman/Joker stuff as opposed to the Lego Batman/Joker. Unless of course were talking about Batman & Robin which is about as cartoony and dumb as live action can get.
    Just makes sense.

Rambo are you sure that your watched the movie? The pokes at the DCEU were very blatant to say the least.
Tell me Rambo which jokes have your found funny in DCEU films do you like the "I hear you talk to fish" Or the " I though she was with you?"? Did you not even find the
DC the house that Batman built
      or
Black every good movie beings with black
      even slightly amusing?
Remember I didn't really like Suicide Squad.
Yet the other day you made a post stating that you did that one did confuse me to be honest as I though that our opinions did match at least on that film.

Batman was invented as a kids character as reported the other day DC make a fortune from its toys range. Of course some of the comics are darker and as I don't read comics I can not honestly say what the current level of maturity the current Batman comics are levelled at but I am guessing teens.
To make a great film you need three things - the script, the script and the script -Alfred Hitchcock

Yeah I figure maybe you got confused by that. Twas an accident, I had meant to type "BvS and Man of Steel" just never bothered editing that post after I noticed since the boards are shutting down

        Yep initially.
But it was the more mature Batman content that I got interested in.
I thought you meant the shots at the DCEU were taken in the new Lego Batman movie not "the Lego movie"
But if they were blatant in "the Lego movie" I missed them because the film honestly felt so irritating that it couldn't hold my undivided attention.
Just seemed like a bunch of lego insanity on screen with a super annoying song in it.

Ah that does explain a lot.
It was The Lego Batman movie where the shots at DCEU were being taken I will give you an example here
Sending a gang of criminals to stop a criminal that's a stupid idea- Batman.

having not watched his review, but having watched a few others.. i'm sure he's proclaiming Will Arnett the best Batman in a live action movie that he's ever seen. strange how people want to forget the long history of the character cinematically
Apparently there is nothing that cannot happen today.

MCU fans want everything spoon-fed to them.
What are some similarities between Justice League Action and Lego Batman movie?

Theyre better acted, better directed, better edited and better written than all DCEU movies.
