I WANT to have faith in the DCEU but…

I really want to have faith in the DCEU but all these news of things like 'The Flash' going through a page-one rewrite, and Ben Affleck stepping down to direct 'The Batman' is just preventing me, as well as other dedicated DC fans, from having faith.
The thing is; Marvel isn't making good comic book films because they're Marvel they're good at what they do because they have structure, they have plans, they arrange things accordingly, so they know when they're done in time. Remember, DC did change the "Untitled Man of Steel Sequel" into 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' almost abruptly every year since its announcement in 2013, there was always one change which led it to this.
The thing is; if 'Batman Begins' (2005) was the beginning of the DCEU the same way that 'Iron Man' (2008) was for the MCU - despite Nolan's preference for using Batman in a stand-alone universe - then DC would have been onto something. Heck, I've noticed that the DCEU >used to< be a shadow of the Nolan Batman trilogy. Look at the poster for 'Man of Steel' (2013), and look at how identical it is to the poster for e.g. 'The Dark Knight' (2008).
'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' was half-Nolan, half-'Watchmen' (2009), tonally dark like Nolan's films, and visually stylish like Snyder's films. But, both are misused massively.
Then, you look at 'Suicide Squad' (2016) a movie that tried to change things for DC, but failed miserably.
My excitement for 'Justice League' (2017) is practically non-existent, and no amount of Jason Mamoa calling Zack Snyder a "genius" is going to change that.
May as well wait for the Blu-ray, since they'll add 30-ish more minutes of run-time there. Why go for a movie that isn't the fuller picture? -

I think thats the plan lately. Leave off the best scenes, the character building scenes, so to give the audience a reason to buy the Blu Ray. Pretty manipulative actually
