          Civil War destroyed
          Batman
          V
          Superman
The world's most iconic comic book characters like Batman and Superman in the same movie for the first time doesnt reach a billion, how embarrassing?

Man of Steel is still a punching bag after over three years? Give it a rest.
Please. Suicide Squad outgrossed it for Pete's sake. As the years go by, Comic Book movies get more and more popular and the chances of even half a billion increase exponentially (and apparently isn't deemed "good enough" anymore).
All Six comic book movies released in 2016 grossed over 500 million worldwide. Wind the clocks back a few years and such a feat was quite rare. I mean, Superman Returns' gross revenue for instance would have been SLAUGHTERED in this day and age.
How does it feel to be deconstructed?

Think of all the other iconic comic book characters that DS is going to out gross. It's not even surprising.

Just stating a fact. It's funny though to see the shift in tactics from "DS is going to fail" to "At least DS won't outgross _____" to "Of course DS outgrossed _____ because the nature of the times, yada"

Except for the fact that you're lumping me in with other fanboys who made said excuses.
I never made any of those excuses myself. What I
                        am
doing is pointing out the why, how, and also the silliness of continuously comparing MoS to all these other superhero movies.

Fair enough. Consider my post directed at the mass of DCEU fantrolls who by and large have followed a predictable (and hilarious) pattern of Gloating > Hedging > Panic Mode > Damage Control

Oh look the FOURTEENTH movie in a series might make more money than DC's FIRST movie in the series. Boy, you MCU kiddies are petty.

Oh look the Sixth DC's more iconic superhero movie made less than the first Marvel movie about a Z tier superhero. Dr. Strange beat Superman. That really sounds ridiculous, doesn't it?
