Ronda does come over as arrogant and of course she is confident but like her or hate her you have to admire what she did for women MMA she brought it to the biggest organisation in the world and for a while she was an extremely dominant fighter. She is showing cracks in her game now though stand up being her downfall it seems although she is actually a very competent boxer offensively. The whole Floyd challenge thing was pissing me off though she knew that he could not win that either way. If he beat her he was a man beating up a women and if he lost then he would be totally humiliated. Still I am not going to discredit her for what she has achieved in her life is way beyond what I have and I am sure you have also.

But that is not the point. Whenever someone starts dissing a popular figure, the argument is what have you achieved in life? Well everyone has different ambitions and goals, and I assure you I'm steadfast in achieving mine. I'm happy in that regard, more so than most.
But it is something so pure about seeing an arrogant prick (female or male) get a dose of reality. There is unfiltered bliss in it.
First I thought I would say a joke about Sodium and Hydrogen but NaH. -

No Great Danton you must fight like an animal in a cage for a living its the only way! I actually wish you luck in whatever your goals are but what I am trying to illustrate is that Ronda was in the top 1% of people in her field. Sure she can come across as and is arrogant at times but I have no idea what she is like out of the MMA setting as a person. I can not say I am with you Danton seeing a girl getting beat up is not my thing even though I have great respect for these women seeing a girl get punched in the face just does not sit pretty with me as a person.

I condemn it when it's a man punching or kicking a girl. That makes me punch the head of the guy. But its a woman on woman fight. And trust me a girl on girl fight is a lot more vicious than guy on guy fight.

I know women can be often are much more vicious than most blokes in a fight but even woman on woman it is still not my thing especially seeing a women getting hit like that because lets be honest Nunes hits extremely hard for a women harder than what an average bloke would if he was not trained.
Is Ronda done in the sport? I think so that was a shattering defeat and to receive it after Homes I don't see how she could come back. She has made her money and is getting roles in Hollywood (although Ronda is a $hit actress) but why not push that opportunity and see where it leads, certainly better than getting punched in the face for a living.

I think she's done in the sport but maybe this could be a turning point in her career? We'll see

When I left work, the previous night, a friend of mine asked: "What are you doing tomorrow?"
I said: "with any luck, watching Ronda Rousey get her face punched in."
I was not disappointed.
And to be clear, I have mad respect for Rousey putting Women's MMA on the map. Can't take that away from her. However, as a huge fight fan, I like my fighters with at least SOME sense of humility - and there are plenty of them out there, so I cringe whenever someone says that Ronda's level of arrogance is essential to being a fighter. She was arrogant in victory, she was even less gracious in defeat. She made a conscious decision to play the "mean girl" and she absolutely crumbles when the people who just liked her when they thought she was invincible inevitably turned on her. I have always maintained the position that, were she to fall down, take a good look at herself, change her outlook on life and come back as a stronger, better PERSON, I would respect her much more.
So far, I haven't seen that, and I think it may just be too late for her to rectify.
