When will we get MOS Extended Cut?

If you weren't trolling, I'd say that MOS would have been a case where an extended cut could legitimately help the movie moreso than BvS and Suicide Squad.
Why?
Because in my opinion, Man of Steel is a legitimately better movie than both those two combined and it wouldn't take that much to make the movie even better. For instance, an extended ending would fix my number one complaint with the movie: the jarring tonal shift between the dark tone of Superman killing Zod to the lighthearted tone of Major Ferris proclaiming Superman as "kinda hot." To be able to see Superman save more people in the aftermath of the destruction of Metropolis and inspire hope in people would turn the movie from being a really good movie into being a phenomenal movie.
