You mean the film with the largest box office so far this year, releasing around five weeks later on home video will likely overtake a film that has been out on home video for five weeks. The shock and horror.

Seriously though, staying at number one for four weeks when there have been other release is rather impressive and does suggest the level of dislike leveled at this film is more then a little over emphasized by what is increasingly looking like a minority. -

you mean that a better movie will have more sales independently of when it came out? The shock the horror.. the humiliation
You're more advanced than a cockroach, ever tried explaining yourself to one of them? -

The proof is right above you. DC fanatics weren't the ones to make BVS #1 movie in home media 4 WEEKS in a row when there are plenty of other releases that came out in this timespan. So that's not just the fanboys or the fanatics doing this. That's the general audience members who liked this film enough to drop 20-25 bucks for it. That's exceptional. And I have even more proof that audiences (generally speaking) like it. Just want to know if you want more evidence.

How do we determine how most people liked the movie if not by audience scores? And from what I'm seeing, most audience liked it. Here's my big paragraph of references to audiences liking BVS: Here's a list of sites BVS was rated at: 7.2 on Metacritic (higher than Star Wars 7), 6.9 (positive) on IMDB, 7.4/10 on RT, 5th highest CBM of ALL TIME on CB.com (place where both Marvel and DC fans hang out), overall positive on DC Cinematic, B from Cinemascore which is decent (when not compared to others) and around 60% positive, 30% mixed and 10% negative from Twitter users reacting to BVS. Here's the link if you don't believe me: http://variety.com/2016/film/box-office/batman-v-superman-social-media-1201743825/ . It also made bank. Everything here shows that also, outside of this sub, most liked BVS. Critics disliked it, sure. But to say that the audience disliked it is just not right. At worst, they viewed it as ok. And that was for the theatrical release. The Ultimate Edition got even better response from the people who saw it, including critics.
Are those enough? -

Thanks for the breakdown, I am ok with people saying they didn't like it but I hate hat they act like they are the majority when the numbers prove the numbers prove they aren't. We all took math in school and no the basics or percentages.
