you mean that a better movie will have more sales independently of when it came out? The shock the horror.. the humiliation

Ahh look at that, someone awfully desperate to make something out to be a failure that clearly is not.

Sounds like you're crying right now because a TON of people liked BVS enough to buy it, 4 weeks in a row. And why would people cry about Civil War doing well? Most people like it.

The proof is right above you. DC fanatics weren't the ones to make BVS #1 movie in home media 4 WEEKS in a row when there are plenty of other releases that came out in this timespan. So that's not just the fanboys or the fanatics doing this. That's the general audience members who liked this film enough to drop 20-25 bucks for it. That's exceptional. And I have even more proof that audiences (generally speaking) like it. Just want to know if you want more evidence.

How do we determine how most people liked the movie if not by audience scores? And from what I'm seeing, most audience liked it. Here's my big paragraph of references to audiences liking BVS: Here's a list of sites BVS was rated at: 7.2 on Metacritic (higher than Star Wars 7), 6.9 (positive) on IMDB, 7.4/10 on RT, 5th highest CBM of ALL TIME on CB.com (place where both Marvel and DC fans hang out), overall positive on DC Cinematic, B from Cinemascore which is decent (when not compared to others) and around 60% positive, 30% mixed and 10% negative from Twitter users reacting to BVS. Here's the link if you don't believe me: http://variety.com/2016/film/box-office/batman-v-superman-social-media-1201743825/ . It also made bank. Everything here shows that also, outside of this sub, most liked BVS. Critics disliked it, sure. But to say that the audience disliked it is just not right. At worst, they viewed it as ok. And that was for the theatrical release. The Ultimate Edition got even better response from the people who saw it, including critics.
                Are those enough?

Thanks for the breakdown, I am ok with people saying they didn't like it but I hate hat they act like they are the majority when the numbers prove the numbers prove they aren't. We all took math in school and no the basics or percentages.

                  1. BVS 2. TWS 3. Avenger

I was going to buy it for like $5 on Black Friday, but watching it last week changed that. I really wish this movie was good

This only makes me happy for the physical media industry, I am still a fan of actually owning your bluray copy (only if it's a movie I really, really like) and I am glad to hear news of a movie selling well in those formats.
It makes me really sad though, for the human race, because this movie was pure beep

                            Interesting
It also had a price drop causing another swell in sales for people on the fence about it to begin with, but I'm sure that has nothing to do with anything.

The movie is a successnot groundbreaking as people believed it would be be but this is impressive indeed
How do haters justify these sales?
They cant say that people were tricked by trailers when the movie was already outI guess they have to make with with the fact that some people enjoyed it
                              It grew on me tremendously!
I liked it when I first saw it and in time I fell in love with itit is different after all

To downplay the success they'll probably make up numbers about how much WB spent on the blue ray cover and they have to sell 6 billion copies to break even.

Firstly well done on being no 1 for four weeks in a row but I am confused as to why people would wait for four weeks to buy the movie? If I wanted a film I would buy it on release not wait a money before doing so.
To make a great film you need three things - the script, the script and the script -Alfred Hitchcock

It was 14.99 on amazon last week too.. I think it went on sale across the boards, probably a big reason it stayed #1 seller a small detail they left out when bragging about it's sales.
