First half of Season 2 started out good, but fell off a cliff the last few episodes. The second half is a marked improvement.

It's really good. I like that they explore the characters before the outbreak. They develop very well but at times are unlikeable which is a good thing. It makes for a more engrossing experience because you feel they are still feeling their way through and don't always have all the right answers.

Sadly, no. And actually I liked Season 1 a lot and after watching Season 2, realize that Season 1 was a lot tighter with more focus and genuine character development. It was slow but in my opinion a GOOD slow. Season 2 was just too random and turned into an action series with too much weird dialogue, sloppy/choppy editing, absolutely stupid decision-making by guest characters. It made the mains look like utter geniuses by comparison.

i re-watched it all twice, and i regret it a little, i found myself fast forwarding scenes(especially with Madison) in every 2nd episode, season 1 has couple of interesting moments but mostly boring
season 2A, 1st 3 episodes are good, i loved it, then when they come on some ranch, mexican farm or whatever the beep that was, those 3 episodes writing is so bad, acting, dialogs oh my god there is one scene where you feel like you're watching a mediocre show, then in the next scene you can't believe how awful it is, its like from some low budget 90s movie, corny and makes no sense
Season 2B is an improvement, so if you have time go ahead and watch it.
