You do realise everyone sees ATTRACTIVE differently lol I can bet someone you find attractive thousands wont find attractive so really there is never going to be anyone for any character where everyone find them attractive

A while ago I was on a date with some girl and I somehow managed to steir the conversation unto wich Marvelmovies she liked. Now that she went for the topic was attractive, but when she made her case for what movies she liked and wich she didn't, it turned ugly. All she cared for, and what she based her likes and dislikes on was whether or not she thought the main guy was hot or not. No interest in acting skills, character development, story, nothing, looks was all she could think about. As a man I could hardly relate to that type of thinking when it comes to male heroes, but I can see that there are men out there that would rate female Superheroes on a similar scale. But as a moviegeek I can tell you that from both sides this idea is completely foreign to me, and frankly moronic. Melissa Benoist might not be the standart blond eye candy you would find in a Playboy catalog, but she is plenty attractive enough to take the role and be judged on her acting skills and portrail of the character, rather then her looks.
I haven't made up my mind about her yet, but I'm not gonna judge her on shallow attributes or gossip. -

She is optimistic, spirited, willful, intelligent, noble, hopeful and vulnerable. Those are the qualities of character that make her not only extremely attractive, but the perfect Supergirl.

Benoist is like a 6/10. 6.5 at best.
She's basically the female version of Grant Gustin, that's what they wanted.
Problem is, Supergirl is a 10/10. She needs to look like an outworldly godly Kryptonian
Not like an average soccer mom type in cosplay. -

I like Melissa Benoist. She's attractive in a cutesy, girl-next-door type of way. I think it works. I'm over these Maxim model-types with spray-tans and a permanent "f me" face. You can have that sh!t.

I mean to be honest she doesn't really do it for me personally ' but I do think she's attractive , I would call her cute as opposed to hot but it's not like she's horrible to look at and I actually think that may help the show .
I haven't seen the pilot yet but I did see what was it like a ten minute trailer ? I thought she looked fine , very wholesome and she looked great in the suit , I don't really know what people's problem's are with her to be honest , as I said I haven't seen the pilot , but people were crapping on the girl as soon as her casting was announced , before they had even seen any footage.
"Oh she's not hot enough , she's not blonde enough " blah blah blah I honestly don't think the casting will change nor should it , I do however think the pilot will be tweaked slightly as they usually are after being "leaked" but you know if you don't like the cast/ casting or the direction you feel the show is taking , which it has to be said is pretty unfair after one episode , you don't have to watch it , I never could really get into Gotham so I stopped watching you know some shows aren't for everyone , but there are a lot of people jumping the gun after one episode .
