Is Lena supposed to be gay?

I don't see any chance of Lena and Kara actually becoming a couple on the show, but I can also see why the Supercorp shippers like to interpret their chemistry that way.
In terms of what might actually happen on screen, Kara will be with Mon-El, at least for a while. If anything happens with Lena and one of the existing characters, the best candidate is probably Winn. More likely, I think Lena will either stay single or get involved with someone who isn't a regular character on the show. -

I don't know. It is possible she could be 'cause her sexuality is something that has never been brought up on the show yet and she hasn't shown any attraction to male or female characters so far so I think that is up to the writers but I don't see Kara and Lena getting together in the future.
I think they should just leave Kara single like she is in the majority of Supergirl comic books and stop forcing permanent love interests on superheroes that don't have them 'cause of their gender.
Make Same Sex Marriages Legal In Australia 'cause we deserve to have the same rights as everybody else and shouldn't be controlled by backwards people with outdated views.

I don't perceive her as being gay. I think her friendship with Kara is great, but I don't see it turning romantic at all.

Karamel is INSANE chemistry. To think a straight woman like Kara having sexual chemistry with a girl on a tv show is just ridiculous, they have chemistry as FRIENDS, but that will soon end as well. Lena Luthor will turn evil. They do not cast a Luthor for Kara to braid her hair with lol

I get a bisexual vibe from Lena and I think she's into Kara - but I think Kara is straight, so I don't think Kara and Lena are going to be a thing.
I do think it's possible Maggie and Alex will have a temporary breakup somewhere down the line and Lena might step in and romance Alex. It would actually make for an interesting storyline, since Lena (if she goes bad) might be plotting against Supergirl, but will presumably stay BFFs with Kara and be sleeping with her sister.
I mean, I love Maggie, so I hope they don't break up, but I could see it happening for a short period, just for some drama.
